Little Days started as a studio project with vocalist Mini Diaz and bassist Jorgen Carlsson back in 1998 and is one of the significant projects these life partners have had during the 30+ years they’ve known each other. They started a family together, own Rogers Boat recording studio, Carlsson records and tours for other artists and Diaz wrote library music for Film and TV.

A big part of their process includes recording straight onto analog tape and then mixing onto analog masters. They don't rely on auto tuning, drum machines or sequencing but instead they have live studio musicians playing their real instruments. The aim is to have their recordings sound like a missing tape reel found in a vault circa 1978, inspired by the pop rock music of that time inviting the listener to dive in and create their own story with Diaz’ lyrical style. Bernie Barlow has spent her career backing up some of the brightest lights in blues and rock music, including many years as a backing singer for the Moody Blues, Sarah McLachlan, Melissa Etheridge, and Janiva Magness. In 2020, the UK-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter released Redeemed, which found itself in the top 100 Americana albums of 2020. This success of Redeemed lead to her being signed to Blue Elan Records for her current release Walking Around This Town. The skillful songwriting, high production value, and musicianship of Walking Around This Town reflect Barlow’s long career in the industry.

With six-time Grammy nominated producer David Darling, Barlow surrounded herself with a group of top studio players including Paul Bushnell (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill), Dave Raven (Shelby Lynn), John Schroeder (Pomplamoose, Dancing with The Stars), Paul Trudeau (Melissa Etheridge, Billy Idol), and a guest artist appearance of blues rock guitarist Philip Sayce. The resulting album draws on Barlow’s love of americana music, and her rich, emotional voice delivers an authentic and powerful set of recordings. Check out her website here: www.berniebarlow.com
