Music Booking

In addition to many other things, Birdies is also a live music venue! Located in the heart of Keene’s quintessential New England downtown, we are just 25 minutes from Brattleboro VT, 1 hour from Northampton MA, and 2 hours from Boston, making Keene a perfect stop when routing a tour. We have shows almost every Friday night from 7pm—9pm. If you are an artist or agent interested in booking a show at Birdies, please fill out the form below. We get many applications, so we may not get to yours right away.

  • We have 2 main speakers mounted in the front corners of the main room, a digital mixer that artists simply plug into onstage, as well as 2 Turbosound stage monitors, mics, mic stands, and cables. We also have 2 light racks for front and back of stage. The only thing you’ll need to bring is your instruments!

  • Birdies is made up of a main room and back room. Our total capacity is 100, but we generally cap our live shows at 75 tickets, as most people wouldn’t want to go to a show where they can’t see the band!

  • We have a pretty unique stage here at Birdies. While it is an odd shape that can be a little tight, it’s also nestled into the front corner with large windows facing Downtown Keene, which often results in street traffic stopping into check out the show! The stage comfortably fits a four piece band, but can fit up to a 6-7, depending on instruments.

  • We generally charge $15 tickets for live music. Artists get 70% of said ticket sales, with a guaranteed minimum of $250. $250 is always paid the night of the show, with any extra money mailed or available for pickup the next week.

  • We usually will have our full menu and bar available during shows, but occasionally only offer a limited menu, due to staffing.
